Executing Our Long Term Vision

Our Strategic Plan

2031 Strategy

20% of Australian students become chronically disengaged by year 10 costing up to A$50.5 billion. Continued engagement in school, particularly for under 16 year olds, is a crucial enabler and enhancer of life long opportunity.

The Problem

TRACTIONS’ approach from 2026 to 2031 is grounded in the growing urgency of youth disengagement and TRACTION’s readiness to influence change.

Our Strategy

To cement a legacy of enduring opportunity and empowerment across generations.

Our Long Term Vision

To work alongside young people early, to build confidence, wellbeing and strong futures.

Our Purpose

We work EARLY at three interlocking levels:

  • alongside young people;

  • leading collaboration to enable effective engagement in learning;

  • reforming regulatory and policy frameworks that govern those environments.

Our Focus

Designed to solidify foundations, expand reach and promote innovation, the strategy will roll out over five years, across four central pillars, leading to new programming, new capabilities and new influence

5 Years - 4 Pillars

“Our 2031 Strategy is about focusing our energy where it counts, on the young people who need us most. We need to ensure the change we drive shows up in their lives, in the systems that should serve them, and in the policies that shape their future.”
